Winter walking in the high school hallways will begin on November 28, 2022 and will be held on days that school is in session from 5:00p.m. - 7:00p.m. If school is not in session for any reason, walking will be cancelled for that day.

REMINDER: NO SCHOOL ON 10/21
Students will not attend school on Friday, October 21. Staff will be participating in professional development on this date.
Spectrum Health will be in the district on Thursday, October 13 during school hours offering free flu vaccinations to middle school students. Flu clinic paperwork will be sent home with your student soon. If you would like your student to receive a flu shot you are required to provide the completed forms.

Parent Teacher Conferences are this Thursday from 4:00pm-7:00pm. You may come any time between 4:00pm-7:00pm. Conferences are generally only 5 minutes in length. You will receive a progress report when you check in, along with testing scores. If there are specific classes you aren’t concerned with, you don’t have to meet with them if you don’t want to. Let us know what questions you have regarding this.

Reed City Area Public Schools was informed of a situation in Luther this morning. RCAPS has been in contact with local law enforcement and emergency management and will continue to follow their recommendations. If anything changes with this situation, we will provide updated communication.
Come Join Ag and Forestry Club!!
Come learn more about the agriculture and forestry industry as well as work on entrepreneurship skills, 4-H craft projects, as well as possibly help raise animal projects. This club will meet 1 -2 times per month after school. There will be some field trips as well to local farms and school forests!

RCMS 5th + 6th grade football players and cheerleaders will be heading to Ford Field this Sunday! We would like to send them off Friday at Reed City Middle School with a clap out at 1:55pm. We will have players and cheerleaders line up by the Art room doors and then go through each hallway. We are asking football players and cheerleaders to wear their jerseys and uniforms. Staff will be wearing Coyote gear or Detroit Lions gear to celebrate! If any parents or community members would like to come you are welcome to line the sidewalk outside in front of the main middle school doors (door 15) Let's make this a memorable weekend for our Middle School Coyotes!
